Attend a virtual orientation for newly admitted adult students
Spring 2026 orientation will be via Zoom on Saturday, January 10th from 10:00am-11:00am.
The Zoom link will be sent to the email listed on your RSVP, so be sure to use one
you can access.
This orientation is not a registration event. You will need to be registered prior to the start of the fall semester – January
12, 2026.
You will also need to clear any holds that are blocking you from registering for courses.
Holds and earliest registration dates can be found under Registration Status.
The Adult Student Orientation is for newly admitted undergraduate students who are
22 years of age or older, are married and/or have children, have not been in school
for an extended period of time, or are primarily taking online/evening courses.

The Adult Student Orientation is not a registration event, so be sure you're registered
for classes before Saturday!

Meet with your advisor
Even if it's not required, you're still welcome to meet with your advisor prior to
registration to make sure you're staying on track with your degree program's requirements.
At the fall orientation, an optional campus tour is provided.
Spring orientation is held virutally, if you'd like to schedule a campus tour you may do so.
We understand that as an adult learner, you have a busy schedule. If you're unable
to attend, information is compiled in the Adult Student Services Brightspace Community
page. This is available 24/7!
